The poem is about the wildfires in Australia, hes writing about how horrible it is,

Ben is Australian or as they call it, hes an Auzzie and because he was born there he would also have alot of connection with the country. Its is like a part of his identity.
What makes this a poem, poems are usually built around rimes and langos that match and rime
He has ryhmes in every sentence.
He mentions multiple australian stereotypes such as: Aussie and g’day.
I think the poem was nice, he put alot of thought into it as he was on the edge og crying halfway trough, it was quite long which in i think poems should be in the shorter side but overall good.
I think he has very strong opinions about the wildfires and that he is very much affected by all the killed animals and plants.
